Connect Open Patrol to Cursor
Cursor reads Open Patrol through its mcp.json file and sends your token with every request. It cannot sign in, so the token is the way.
The server address
The file below already carries it.
You will need
- An Open Patrol plan that holds data. See the plans, or sign in if you have one.
- Cursor, installed.
- Your token, made in your dashboard.
- A few minutes.
On Open Patrol
Create your token
-
Create your token
Your token is private, so it is made in your dashboard, not on this page. We show it once: copy it somewhere safe.
Open your token page
In Cursor
Add Open Patrol to mcp.json
-
Open mcp.json
Open
~/.cursor/mcp.jsonto have it in every project, or.cursor/mcp.jsoninside one project. Create the file if it is not there. -
Add Open Patrol
Add it under
mcpServers, beside any server already there, and put your token where it saysopd_your_token:{ "mcpServers": { "open-patrol": { "url": "https://open.playpatrol.app/mcp", "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer opd_your_token" } } } }In a project's file, write
Bearer ${env:OPEN_PATROL_TOKEN}instead and set that variable, so the token stays out of the project. -
Restart Cursor
Restart Cursor. If Open Patrol does not connect, the MCP Logs output says why.
-
Ask it something
Ask in your own words. For example:
- Where did Big Bass Splash stand on UK casino pages last week?
- Which studios had games on the first row of Spanish casino homepages yesterday?
- Which new games appeared on casino homepages in Germany this month?
If something goes wrong
- Cursor says Unauthorized
- The token is wrong, was replaced, or your plan ended. Open your token page to see which.
- You lost the token
- We keep only its start, so it cannot be shown again. Replace it on your token page and put the new one where the old one was; the old one stops at once, for the API as well.
